It was a low scoring match but still it was equally competitive and match went all the way to the last ball. New Zealand manage to restrict South Africa to the modest total on a good a batting strip but South African spinner played there part well as a result they manage to win by 2 runs.
South African openers Gram Smith and Jacquie Kallis manage to give a good platform but the middle order fail to capitalise on the start. But at the end South African put up a respectable total. The New Zealand got to an decent start but they made blunder in the middle overs as a result as soon as captain got out after making valuable fifty they lost there way. In last over 15 runs were required they got the fours required but they couldn’t score the all required 2 runs to win the match.
The result won’t effect New Zealand or for that matter South Africa too, as the two teams have already qualified for the super eight.

Australia is out of the T20 World Cup, is it a surprise? If any one told this before a two years ago it would have been a surprise but for last two years Australia have under perform. Australian are to be blame themselves for there array of defeats may be they were overconfident and started to take title of world champion for granted.
They had lack of T20 practise before interning in to T20 World Cup, there big players didn’t participated in IPL season 2.
Dran Nannes was one of the successful bowlers of this year’s IPL. Then to Australian Selection Committee didn’t include him in the team as he a result he is playing for the team Netherland. Australian captain Ricky Pointing say playing in IPL would have least affect on the form of the players, whereas other team agreed to the fact that IPL was the great preparation for the T20 World Cup.
Its just may the case of competency or overconfidence that is causing the team Australia downfall.

India versus its sub-continental cousin Bangladesh. One is the giant in the world cricket and other is a team who upset many giants time to time.
Indian team is confident bunch of young boys who have gain plenty of experience because of recently concluded IPL tournament. The group in which India is placed in is not so challenging group, it be should cake walk for team India to make to the super eight if they don’t became complacent.
Another factor that could come in India’s way is the weather, today forecast is of rain that could only help Bangladesh.

The very attraction of T20 world cup is number of 4’s and 6’s in an innigings. But this year ICC organising the world cup in mecca of cricket Englad, it can backfire, as swinging and overcast condition may help bowlers more than batsmen.
Batsmen with right technique would be more successful as compare to batsmen who like to hit through the line like our very own Virendra Shewag, Chris Gayle and many others.
The matches can be a low scoring as compare to the score of T20. The score around 150 can be called competitive in the English condition.
As a die hard fans we only want this world cup to as entertaining as the last one was and the world cup trophy in the hands of mahi!!!

Team India boys also famous as men in blue, are they changing in to men in grey?
This is the question in the minds of fans. Team India was seen in new color and they may also wear the same color for the upcoming t20 world cup. Many of the fans are of the view that the team should stuck with the color blue as they find color grey bit dull. Whereas some say the color is a welcome change.
Team India was seen in the normal blue jersey in two warm up match. But if one can by signs the team will see grey color jersey. But as far as we fans go it doesn’t matter if they are playing in blue or grey jersey as long as they can keep wining.

Placement for the Super Eight stage is determined as follows:
The first two teams in each group are placed 1 or 2. They will retain this position for the Super Eight stage, irrespective of whether they finish first or second in their group, unless they are knocked out by the team 3 in their group. In this instance, team 3 replaces the position of the team they knock out.

IPLT20 final have won by Deccan Chargers, the site which was last in the first IPLT20 outing, have manage to gain the trophy this year. Excellent all-round performance by the team. Where Herschelle Gibbs was the batting star, the bowlers were the star performer for Chargers’. But the man of the match was awarded to losing captain Anil Kumble for his four crucial wickets.
All and all was a great finale and its was well suited by ending ceremony with artist performing from around the world and a spectacular fire work at the very end.

In case of tie in T20 format there will be new way to get the result of the match. ‘Super Over’ which is a replacement of ‘bowl-off’ in case of tie. Should the score be tied at the conclusion of the match, each team will play one over each and within 3 wickets while try to reach highest possible score. The team getting the highest score will be winner.
